Bean Bag Chairs ROCK!

Bean bag chairs have been around for decades and, for good reason: they "rock" ... they are versatile ... they are affordable. Small bean bag chairs provide fun seating for young children. The bean bag chairs of the 1960's and 1970's were covered in vinyl fabric and filled with polystyrene beans ("packing peanuts"). Today, bean bag chair manufacturers offer a much greater variety of upholstery grade fabrics and the option of urethane foam fill. Latest Consumer Product Safety Standards

In recent months, there has been a lot of information in the media regarding consumer product safety laws in the United States. In August 2008, the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) enacted several changes to current consumer product safety laws.

Effective February 10, 2009, lead content in any children's product must not exceed 600 parts per million (ppm) by weight for any part of the product. Effective August, 2009, the lead limit will be decreased again to 300 ppm total lead content.

From the day Levels of Discovery began manufacturing in May of 2002, all of their products have been in compliance with CPSIA regulations. As soon as they became aware of the new laws for 2009, their entire line was re-tested again and all were found to be in compliance with the new standards as well.

Rest assured, consumers can be confident that the rocking horses, rocking chairs, toy boxes, and table & chairs sets manufactured by Levels of Discovery and offered by One Purple Frog all meet the current CPSIA safety standards.
