It can become very confusing! Because of the well-earned reputation of Fuf Chairs and Jaxx Sacs, we will focus on the bean bag chair products of these two companies.
Fuf Chairs and Jaxx Sacs are similar in that they all feature:
- durable, supportive urethane foam fill
- have inner liners available
- with a nice choice of upholstery grade fabrics
- are made in the U. S. A.
- and are backed by a warranty against manufacturing defects.
However, that is where the similarities end! The shapes and sizes offered by each company are quite different.
Fuf Chairs are available in 7 sizes:
- Extra Small (2-footer) - sized for pre-K to middle-school age children
- Small (3-footer) - sized for early elementary to junior-high age children
- Medium (3.5-footer) - sized for junior-high to college age young people
- Large (4-footer) - supportive enough for a man
- King (5-footer) - cozy seating for two adults
These first five sizes are ball-shaped. The largest two sizes are capsule-shaped:
- Extra Large (6-footer) - can serve as a sleeper or a loveseat for two
- Extra Extra Large (7-footer) - also known as a Fuf Couch!
Jaxx Sacs are available as: the Jaxx Club, the Jaxx Lounger, the Jaxx Sac and the Jaxx Sphere.
The Jaxx Club is a unique four sided design and is available at a base width of 40" or 60".
The Jaxx Lounger is capsule-shaped, with a 3' diameter and lengths of 5', 6' or 7.5'.
The Jaxx Sac is drum-shaped, 3' in height and in diameters of 3', 4', 5', 6' and 7'.
The Jaxx Sphere is a ball-shaped design, 3' in height and either 5' or 6' in diameter.
Keep in mind: whether you choose a Fuf Chair or a Jaxx Sac ... you will want to carefully measure the space you have available ... those large size bean bag chairs are BIG!
But, no matter which you choose, you can be assured of a quality product that will serve you well for years to come!
